A quick sketch of a place I visited last summer in Scranton, USA. It was a hybrid between natural rock formation and human construct, a place the locals simply referred to as 'The Steps." Between overhanging boulders and cliffs ran a deep, cool river at the bottom of a steep ravine. A waterfall at least a hundred feet high was formed by a massive wall of human-made bricks, constructed in a tiered fashion that brought to mind the steep steps of an ancient aztec temple, shrouded and enclosed with silvery fingers of running water. It was a very beautiful place!
